This property, located close to the Angel-Islington was conceived as a new building type – a commercial building in which people also live. The 30 unit scheme effectively responds to challenging environmental conditions (traffic noise and pollution) and incorporates flexible elements within the design to simplify changes of use over the life of the property.

The building was judged by The Guardian to be the best 'New Building of the Year' in 2001.
